Vihiga County whose headquarters is in Mbale is Located in the Western Region of Kenya. It boarders Nandi to the East, Kisumu County to the South, Siaya County to the West, and KAKAMEGA County to the North. It is one of the four Counties in the former Western Province. Vihiga County has five Constituencies; Luanda, Emuhaya, Hamisi, Sabatia, and Vihiga

Vihiga County's economy is predominantly agriculture with approximately 85 % of the population living in the county having their livelihood mainly from agricultural activities. Of the 65% of the population estimated to be living below the absolute poverty line, subsistence farmers account for 90%. 

GIVEWATTS bring access to clean energy products as solar lamps. GIVEWATTS process has been developed into a cycle where the initial funding starts the distribution wheel. Our aim is to keep a balance between business efficiency and impact.
