Home Bay County is estimated to have a population of 1.3 million people with 262,036 households of an average of 4.3 people per household. The county covers an area of 3,183sq km which is in the southern part of Nyanza along the shores of Lake Victoria. The main social activity in the region is fishing and farming. For a very long time, the region was known for cotton farming which collapsed and plans are underway to revive it.
With this project, we aim to make energy consumption more sustainable and to increase understanding of the benefits of clean and affordable energy for better health, economic, and educational growth.
GIVEWATTS process has been developed into a cycle where the initial funding starts the distribution wheel. We aim to keep a balance between business efficiency and impact.
