Funded by: Fastighetssnabben, Kilifi 2022 - 120 solar lamps

Kilifi town is one of the towns in the coastal province in Kenya and it is the capital of Kilifi County with an estimated population of 1.4 million people. The weather is generally warm throughout the year with two seasons of moderate rainfall. The long rain periods start around in March and last into July, while the short start around October and last into December. Like any other coastal town, fishing is one of the historical economic activities in Kilifi but the town has been transforming slowly with time from fishing to basic industrial and service.
