Bungoma County is home to an estimated 1.7 million people and sits on an area of 2,069 km². Bungoma is the 3rd populous County after Nairobi and Kakamega. Bungoma County’s economic strength is agriculture: sugarcane, tobacco, coffee, onions, vegetables, sunflower, and dairy cattle. Maize in Tongeren and Naitiri also makes the county a vital part of the region’s breadbasket. The poverty rate is 32.4% (2016)

With this project, our aim is to make energy consumption more sustainable and to increase understanding of the benefits of clean and affordable energy for better health, economic, and educational growth.

GIVEWATTS process has been developed into a cycle where the initial funding starts the distribution wheel. Our aim is to keep a balance between business efficiency and impact.
